Benefit Concert for Hands of Mercy

Saturday, October 18th, 2014
The Gazebo on Courthouse Square
Fayetteville, Tennessee

Greg Mitchell and Ron Hackett have been active in the Lincoln County music scene for some time and decided last year to use their talents and connections to bring a songwriter showcase to the area to benefit local charities. This year's guest were Kerry Kurt Phillips and Jim McBride, both accomplished country music songwriters with multiple number one hit songs. Ron's co-coordinator of the Open Mic night, Taylor Hoch, opened the show along with Jay Jernigan and Kevin Kole, another local singer/songwriter.

Greg and Ron had the honor of passing along over seven hundred dollars in donations to Tina Sloan on Thursday, 6 November 2014, at a small ceremony at the Fayetteville Arts Center during the weekly Open Mic night.
