Performing Arts at The Art Center

The last performing arts and open mic show was held at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Arts Center on Saturday, April 20, 2019. This was the last show of our fifth season. I performed for the first time since my injury two months ago. Robert Foster, Jennifer King, Todd Mustin, and Elliot from Petersburg also performed.

We normally go on hiatus for the summer because their is no air conditioning in the gallery and attendance is light. At this time, there are no plans for a sixth performing arts and open mic season at the Arts Center. Attendance has been light for most of our shows this year, so the hosts decided that the show has run its course and the time has come to shut it down.

This does not mean we have given up on performing arts. We are looking for new venues and new opportunities to perform, and we will keep you apprised of our efforts. This only means that the regular twice monthly show at the Arts Center has ended after five seasons.

Thanks to all the performers who have crossed our stage over the last five years and to all of the patrons who came to support these artists. It's been one hell of a ride. Robert Foster, Taylor Hoch, and I bid you a fond farewell.
